School talk application
As part of our community engagement, we offer a free school talk where a couple of our team members visit during school hours to chat with students about renewable energy and answer any questions they may have.
We offer this to local primary and secondary schools in the Mulhussey, Milltown, Batterstown, and surroundings, around potential project sites. The talk covers simple explanations of solar and wind energy, how energy reaches homes and schools, and the different roles within the GP JOULE Ireland team.
The duration of the talk can be adapted to suit each individual school; however, to get the most from the Q&A, a 40–50-minute session is recommended.
